Premier Inn Reception Host interview questions

I came in for an open interview which had about 20 other applicants, was told there were two of these on one day. I was then invited to a trial shift where I spent a further hour of my time learning the role followed by another interview with the hotel manager. Whilst this part of the application was enjoyable, I was told I would hear back in the next few days as to whether I got the job. It’s been weeks and I’ve heard nothing, not even any feedback or a copy-paste rejection email. Considering the amount of my time I gave I find this really poor.
