HR contact was the most professional part. Met with current sysadmin and manager. Negative things like bad Glassdoor reviews, very high turnover (last sysadmin left after less than 2 months), badmouthing old desktop support person, badmouthing needy users and saying there's a closed-door policy and that they routinely refuse to support them, all set off major alarms. They didn't know how to manage a department and changed their minds frequently about what positions they needed. Had conflicting information on the hours and days required to support overseas office. Did not ask specific questions about skills or give a technical test. Department seems chaotic and from the reviews here, that doesn't look like it's going to change.
