Take-home was interesting. The follow-up call with the founder and a senior engineer was the weak point. I walked through my take-home assignment and focused on decisions explicitly with trade-offs explanation and got "yes, that's right" to most of them. No real probing on depth or breadth, no alternative framings, no pressure-testing. Hard to tell what they were actually evaluating. Felt more like a vibe check than a technical bar, and the decision came back without any signal on what tipped it. Apply with that in mind.
