Interview
Accretive Health presented on campus an information session. Everyone was excellent at explaining some of the various roles within the firm. You could clearly see that the recruiter enjoyed what she was doing and brought enthusiasm and professionalism to the table. I also enjoyed meeting several recent hires and related well to them. From there I submitted my resume and was selected to participate in 1st and 2nd round interviews on campus. About 3 weeks later a group of us were flown to the corporate offices in Chicago. The corporate office is on Michigan Avenue and the office is top notch and you can tell people were proud to work there.

1st interview is a screening with the recruiter. 2nd interview is with the Senior Director and 2 team members. 3rd interview is with leadership team and must give a presentation.

Describe a time you overcame a difficult task and how you did it.
They brought me into their office to interview with different people for different positions, even though I only applied for one position. They all seemed to be very defensive about their company even when I didn't ask about their big situation that was in the news. The interview questions were typical (e.g. why do you want to work at Accretive, describe a time when you had to persuade someone, etc.).

Fairly simple, straight forward. Lots of phone interviews. Recruiter for the company called. Should have been more timely. Took too long to get through each process.
