I applied online. I interviewed at Ramboll (London, England) in Nov 2023
Interview
1) Phone call with a staff member
2) Assessment Centre - where 6 spots where up for grabs for 25 applicants roughly, 3 in Bristol and 3 in London.
The AC includes a presentation about the company and 2 group exercises as well as an individual interview. The process lasted approximately 5 hours.
Group Exercise : You are lost at sea due to a fire on the boat you were on, from which you have been evacuated. Rank these 15 items based on how much you need them.
Group exercise: Late in the design stage of an offshore wind turbine, you realise that the overturning moment on the turbine is higher than expected, necessitating a change in the structure. What do you recommend changing with the structure, knowing that drastic changes cannot be made as the design has progressed too much?
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Ramboll (London, England) in Dec 2022
Interview
A lengthy online application which gives a good opportunity to talk about your skills, I was then invited for a phone interview (top 10% of applicants) which was maybe only 15 minutes where I was asked 3 questions about the offshore wind industry. I was then invited to attend the assessment centre day at their office in London (25 people in attendance). Everyone was incredibly nice with some fun group activities and it was a very laid back interview experience, although the one-on-one interview at the assessment centre was only 30 minutes which was very short compared to other interviews I have done. They told us they would get back to us with next steps the following week, however even after emailing for an update 3 weeks later as I had another offer and needed to know my options, I did not get a response until nearly 3 weeks after that, although I understand this was over christmas and the new year. So a very good interview experience but not the best experience after, especially as I am still waiting on reimbursement from travel costs despite being told this would happen within 2 weeks.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ramboll (London, England) in Dec 2022

It was a good interview. It was basically an assessment centre. I had 2 group discussions and 1 personal interview. They gave me a presentation about the company and their support to attain charterdship. Over all it was a good interview. Even though i performed extremely well, couldnt get an offer
