After several lengthy head hunter conversations, a behavioral profile and providing documentation of my current role, I had a terrible interview experience with the retained search executive responsible for this position. He was arrogant and closed-minded and I should have walked out when he referenced how much he loved working with a terrible prior employer of mine (which I left in excellent standing for a better opportunity). This is a venture-backed firm that has changed CEOs several times over the past year and I was not given a reasonable explanation as to why. Following the unpleasant and uninformative interview I withdrew from the process.
