Had two interviews, second one seemed to have gone well and had the third interview confirmed with lead. The interview was canceled just a few hours prior after confirming as I was to appear in office.

Had an initial screening interview with their Operations Coordinator and several things didn't line up. She wasn't familiar with my resume, cover letter, or previous direct communication where I shared details about my experience. The JD indicated certain certifications were "Nice to haves" but then during the interview it was revealed the certifications were "prerequisites" to getting hired. Lastly, I was told I would be getting an email with the list of exact certifications I needed to get the job, but otherwise was an excellent candidate and would be moving on to the next round. I got a rejection email the next day.

Interview
The interview was entirely in English and included technical and situational questions related to my previous experience as a Project Manager. Topics discussed included tools like Jira, the types of significant projects I had managed, and reasons for my previous job termination. Salary expectations were brought up before clarifying that the position was freelance and followed EST hours, which impacted the overall conditions and the original number given. While the interviewer was cordial throughout the conversation, the process took a considerable amount of time, with more than two weeks passing between the initial contact and the first (and only) interview.
