Overall process takes around 1 month
1) 30 minutes Phone Call with recruiter
2) 1 hour Technical interview with QA Manager - 2 Coding exercises
3) Full 5-hour loop with team members/ managers/behavioral assessment people, each 1 hour spread across 2 days
- A lot of leadership questions, QA technical questions, and some open-ended
Not to be bitter, but I am disappointed with the process. I am a foreigner and my work visa was expiring in 6 months after I applied and I was waiting for H1B draw, which I made the recruiter aware of in my first call, and at that time she told me that the company is open to relocating people in case I do not get a visa ( and I mention this a couple of times throughout ), which is why I went along with the whole interview process.
One time they made a mistake, an interviewer who was scheduled at a later hour suddenly called asking if I am available, turns out there is a mismatch between what the schedule that the interviewer got and what I received. This was super fine, just a minor hiccup.
After the loop, I was then given a VERBAL OFFER days before H1B result for L4 QA Engineer. When the draw was announced, I inform them that I was not selected. Their responses started to be super slow, and eventually they told me they can't move forward because they can't relocate me. They offered to reach out to similar positions outside the country, which I happily agreed but in the end, they ghosted me.
