The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rooster's Brewing in Nov 2019
Interview
I interviewed at Rooster’s Taproom itself and was interviewed by the taproom manager and the manager of the brewery together. It was a very casual interview and we sat at one of the tables in the taproom for the interview. I was asked standard questions that you would expect for a bar staff role, such as past experience, why Rooster’s, what’s my favourite beer etc. I was then asked some strange scenario questions that I have added below. The responses to my answers gave me red flags instantly and I wish I’d listened to the red flags as the job was not for me at all and I personally had a bad experience there. I think the member of staff that caused me issues no longer works there though, and when I visit as a customer all the staff seem nice, this was just my personal experience.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
“What would you do if you were on your own in the taproom and a group of 4 men came in drunk and asked for drinks, and when you told them you couldn’t serve them because they were too drunk, they refused to leave and started to shout and harass you?”
The second scenario question was “what would you do if a group of work colleagues of varying ages came in after work one day and spent a lot of money over the course of the evening. Later in the evening, they became very drunk and loud and you could see that they were disturbing other customers?”
