I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Royal Mail in Nov 2025
Interview
Very easy, got sent interview questions beforehand. Manager was nice and very honest about the role. It was quick and informal and answered all my questions. One of the easiest interviews I’ve ever had.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me several questions ranging from my level of fitness to my flexibility and driving experience.
Some online questions and tests including hazard perception, which were fine. Then an in person interview that was meant to be with the manager and another person but the manager never showed up - he was "on a call" the whole time. I initially thought that this probably meant he had already chosen an internal applicant for the job.
The interview went really well however, and I received the impression that I stood a good chance of being hired.
The interview was on a Thursday and I was notified on Monday that I had not got the job.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Royal Mail (Rushden, East Midlands, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
Informal chat, talking about potential hours physical fitness and general work history.
Very simple except getting in when the actual distribution centre was closed was interesting, I wondered if it was a test if you could deliver a tricky parcel! (It wasn’t)
