The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at S&P Global (New York, NY) in Mar 2009
Interview
first two rounds were technical phone screens. In house interviews I met with a HR representative, the hiring manager as well as the CTO. The process was much longer then they alluded and I took another job in the meantime.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Spring/Hibernate- very important to understand the concept behind and how to work in the environment
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at S&P Global (United, PA) in Jan 2022
Interview
several teams calls with different members of the team. The calls were about 30 min each. hr was very responsive at the company. I knew I didn't get the position.
2 Stage process, both stages I was misled and the role was misrepresented on the job description. During phone interview I was told one thing, then at face-2-face stage I was told another. The people that interviewed me had no clue how to apply the concepts so their questions were vague and conceptually incorrect. I lost interest in the role and it was mostly a time waste.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly pointless questions that indicated the interviewers had no clue about what they were trying to achieve and even if their method was workable. In fact, what they wanted to achieve would not have worked against best practices.
