I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at S&P Global in Mar 2010
Interview
The first round of the interview consisted of taking a skills assestment test. The first question wanted you to outline/draw a sample interface of a database to hold documents. The second question asked about ERD's, and making one for a specific scenario. Then the interviewer would then come in, and ask you questions on your answers. The interviewer would propose difference scenarios for the interface, and ask how you would debug and implement small changes to improve user capability.

The process is notably straightforward and lacks complexity, making it accessible for those who are well-prepared and have a solid understanding of their skill set. It is crucial to have a thorough preparation and a deep familiarity with one's own capabilities. Specifically, if the context involves technical requirements, it is imperative to have an in-depth knowledge of one's technical expertise. This preparation will not only smooth the process but also enhance one's ability to navigate through it with confidence and ease.
