SR Travel interview questions

I had been interviewing with the company previously for a different role where we didn't come together and upon reaching out again a few months later, the managing director suggested this particular role for me. Following a video call with the CEO I was invited for a meeting with CEO and country manager Spain were they flew me out to their offices, put me up in a nice hotel and took me out for dinner where towards end of the evening a verbal offer has been made. After some weeks delay I received a written offer which already wasn't in line with what we discussed that evening, in the positive spirit of coming together though I made counter proposals to move towards one another at which time i was ghosted upon, also not reacting to phone calls, and on the actual day that I was initially meant to start I received the news that they ultimately decided now at short notice to not recruit this role.
