Salvatori interview questions

Interview was arranged online through a recruiter, however several times during the interview the interviewer expressed his dissatisfaction for online interviews. This made the interview feel very uncomfortable. I was left feeling unsure as the invite was sent by the interviewer directly? So for the interviewer to constantly express his dissatisfaction set a very uneasy tone. Interviewer asked questions about my personal design style, which designers I most admire and follow on social media, I felt the interviewer was trying to establish how passionate I may be about design but was then unsure how a candidate like myself could have a design background with a passion for design yet have a strong business acumen and would take on a role in sales within the A & D industry. (Let it be noted this combination of design and sales is not uncommon). Other questions asked seemed to have a double meaning and I was unsure of what the interviewers intentions were and where the conversation was going. A second face to face interview was arranged in the London showroom which would be a “come to the showroom for a coffee” type interview. Overall the interview experience was awful, it seemed as though nothing I, the candidate could do was good enough, I felt I had to do a lot of justification and with no positive or constructive feedback.
