I interviewed at Sana Biotechnology (South San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Recruiter call, then 3 zooms with team members and manager. Thorough, professional, polite. Standard questions and expected probes, I didn’t answer yes to everything but was still moved further into the process. Freshly out of college with minimal related experience so that was nice too that they saw my potential

Interview
The interview went smoothly. After talking with HR, I had the interview with HM. I had 20 minutes of technical discussion with the hiring manager followed by some follow up questions regarding my availability and company’s culture and vision. I have been told at least twice that I will be contacted by HR for next steps, but got ghosted!
It’s absolutely ok if the HM didn’t felt that I am good fit, that happens in a lot of the interviews. However, ensuring people that they will hear back for next steps, and then not even sending a rejection email to let the candidate know about the decision is unacceptable!

Interview
The interview lasted about 5 rounds. One of the best experiences I had in terms of interviews. One component termed internally as a bar raiser is quite literally responsible to raise the culture bar and is supposed to gauge a candidate to see if they shall fit the company culture. The technical rounds with the hiring manager and team director were engaging and gave an accurate scope of the role.
