Talked to a recruiter within the product operations department and he was reading from a script and couldn't answer any questions about the company. He told me he'd reply by email to my questions, which were as simple as asking about company culture or org structure.
I was ghosted after initial screening (and no response to my questions); very unprofessional to not respond to a candidate after the interview. This company has a poor recruiting infrastructure.
I applied online. I interviewed at Scratch Services in Mar 2022
Interview
Horrible Experience. I applied online and received a follow up e-mail to schedule an interview.
They advertised the job as being remote when it was not. Had to find out after a week of waiting for the interview. The interviewer stated that it is a hybrid position (I live in a different state) and that they were using an outdated job advertisement. She then went on to say that several applicants have also experienced this.
My resume shows that I live in a different state and had the interviewer actually look at my resume, she could have saved us both some time and clarified via e-mail the role is hybrid.
They still have not adjusted the job ad on LinkedIn and their website, which says a lot about the company itself. They do not care about wasting people's time. After reading reviews on here and having that experience, I definitely dodged a bullet.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Scratch Services (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2022
Interview
Quick video conference with the CEO. Discussed background and then was asked a 2-3 questions for about ten minutes and then he turned it over to any questions I may have.
CEO didn't seem comfortable talking about leadership styles and the best way to lead and manage at Scratch - "This sounds like big company politics, you just need to add value."
