When I joined the meeting the CEO of the company jumped straight into the interview/job eligibility questions, without a greeting. He continued to ask questions in a very straightforward, cold manner. I mentally checked out of the interview about 3/4 in as I felt that the CEO was being condescending towards me as an applicant- especially when the idea of interns being 'let go' for unsatisfactory performance was already mentioned, and I had not even been hired yet. This type of company culture/attitude was not a right fit for me. I declined the take-home interview for these reasons.
