I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SecureSeniorConnections (Boston, MA) in Nov 2022
Interview
simple and straightforward. Not too technical, They ask for previous experience, and how you worked initiatively. After phone screening they will give you a task where you need to work on tables and prepare a presentation. Then they ask different questions after the presentation
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SecureSeniorConnections (Jersey City, NJ)
Interview
Quick first interview that lasted 15 minutes then a follow up interview. During that first interview all was great and positive was even asked about salary requirement and that they wanted to move fast which I feel is a good sign. The followup was delayed quite a bit finally got the second interview. Was asked typical marketing questions the vibe of the interview was ok but there’s a sense of a meeting heavy work culture and potential micro managing. After the second interview I was passed up on. Hot and cold type of interview process is not a good look.

Question 1
Take me through your most successful marketing campaign.
We always appreciate feedback from candidates to continually improve and hone our hiring processes. We’re glad to hear that early transparent salary conversations were helpful as that is something we have worked to incorporate into our process based on other feedback. We thank you for the time spent getting to know more about you and wish you the best in your job search.
I made it through three rounds of interviews and was ghosted.
First round was a phone screen. Second round was a fairly involved take home exercise that assessed excel skills and data analysis. Third round was an interview with the hiring manager. Compensation wasn't discussed until the third round and the range is below market for a Head of Support role.
By the third round I knew it wasn't a fit - I wasn't able to establish a rapport with the person I'd report to and just wasn't interested in the company or the role.
I would've declined an offer, but that doesn't matter. It's unprofessional to ghost a candidate who has made it through three rounds of interviews. Based on other reviews, it seems like this is a pattern.
