The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Sephora (Las Vegas, NV) in May 2015
Interview
I filled out my application on line and set up a profile, which is nice because you can apply for multiple positions after that instead filling out a different application each time. They called me the next day and invited me to a group interview the following day at the store. Group interview was with six others including myself where we basically talked about sephora and ourselves.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were pretty basic. Talk about yourself and general product knowledge. They asked how you would sell particular items to customers.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sephora
Interview
I submitted a resume/cover letter via their website and was promptly contacted for an interview for a part-time position around the holidays. I met with a total of 3 employees who had very different personalities, but it was a good variety of questions. They wanted to know a lot about who you are as an individual (where do you shop, what brands do you like, what are your hobbies, etc) The third round was then about how you handle conflict.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Do you shop mainly online or in store?"
"How do you handle an irate customer?"
"What are your hobbies?"
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sephora
Interview
The interview process I went through included three one-on-one interviews in total- the first with the Store Specialist (Assistant Magager) and the second and third with the Store Director (Manager).
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sephora (New York, NY) in Sept 2015
Interview
applied online, received a callback about 2 weeks later and was asked to come in the next day for a group interview. I've interviewed with sephora several times now and this was the first time the store director stood in for the group interview..I think they were in a rush to hire at this particular location because I was literally called 2 days later to come in and accept an offer & fill out paperwork.
