I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Serenity Healthcare in Apr 2025
Interview
The process began smoothly with an initial screening call with the recruiter. She was pleasant and assured me we would have a prep session later that evening for my second interview with the clinic director. Despite following up multiple times, I didn’t hear back until the next day—just two hours before the interview—when I was suddenly advised not to disclose any personal mental health struggles due to concerns about previous hires being “unstable.” That alone raised major red flags.
The second interview with the director lasted about 10 minutes. He seemed extremely distracted and asked no questions beyond, “Do you have any questions for me?” It felt like a formality rather than a genuine assessment.
The third interview was held in person, and the person I was scheduled to meet arrived 15 minutes late without explanation.
I was told to expect follow-up correspondence the following week. I never received any. No update, no rejection, no acknowledgment. After three rounds, this level of unprofessionalism and disregard for a candidate’s time is disappointing.
A basic follow-up is the bare minimum. Also, coaching recruiters to screen out individuals with mental health struggles is an ethical concern. It is incredibly inappropriate and stigmatizing, and sends a clear message that they are more concerned with appearances than authenticity or inclusion.
In hindsight, getting ghosted was probably the kindest thing they could’ve done. Consider it a preview of the professionalism you can expect from this boutique dressed up as a clinic.

The interview was clear and positive. I felt like it was conducted professionally as well as the questions asked were relevant and demonstrated the “why” of their mission very clearly.
The interview process was very detailed. You can tell they really want to get to know you as a person and not just a resume because they asked a lot about my hobbies and interests. They had me do to interviews and meet with different people each time.

Interview
I did 3 interviews, one was a phone interview, one was a video call interview, and the final was an in person interview. It took about a week to complete all of the interviews and scheduling a new interview was very fast.
