I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Shoo-In (New York, NY) in Mar 2018
Interview
Go the interview after one week after applied through our job fair. The HR introduced me the company insights, and the job I will be doing in the future. Also met with the marketing director, who's also really nice. They have structured on-boarding process, and professional training, which I like the most. But sometimes, lots of people need to have phone calls in the meeting rooms, which can make you cannot focus on what you're doing, a little bit distractive.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Shoo-In (New York, NY) in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied online then received phone interview and on-site interview invitation really quick. The first 10 minutes of on-site interview was okay, then the interviewer suddenly ask if I'm interested in a Sales(Client management) position that I did not apply. When I asked about the originally position I applied, I was told that the position was fulfilled in 2 days ago. Clearly the company doesn't have the common sense to notify candidates not coming in to interview with a position no longer existed. Also from the interviewer's reaction, I feel the fancy marketing position was only created to trick people to come in for interview, so that the company will stand a chance to talk people into the Sales position that starts with low-paid internship. The whole experience was a time-wasted scam.
