They give you a take home project. This wasn't inherently wrong but they decided to change a core portion of the requirements before the due date. When I emailed them they said it needs to be completed by the due date with all of the new requirements and this is by no means a quick fix. I offered to continue the project with the current set up and was declined. Not worth the time for $45k-$50k salary in-office role.
To top this off completing the take home project doesn't even mean you get the role it just "improves your chances". If this is the interview process I can't even imagine what the role would be like.
