I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Signify Health (Oklahoma City, OK) in Jan 2022
Interview
Like other reviews, the recruiting process seems a bit disorganized with room for improvement. I applied online either late November or early December and didn't have any contact until near Christmas. The recruiter scheduled the initial video meeting and never showed up. I remembered I had her phone number so I called her and she said it was for the next day even though I was staring at the invite in my email and on my calendar and it clearly stated the current day and time. I let it go since no one is perfect and she did show up on the video meeting the next day but oddly enough didn't turn on her camera. What's the point of a video interview if only I have my camera on? Might as well just make it a phone call since the connection would be a lot better.
Anyway, she tells me how great of a candidate I am and how quickly they want to hire, etc. so I get an interview with the hiring manager really quickly. That went well (he actually had his camera on) so I was then moved onto to the final interview with his boss. Apparently, she has turned down previous candidates submitted but I was given no feedback as to why so I wouldn't be able to address concerns she had with previous candidates.
This is where it really fell apart. Again, they are in a hurry and schedule it the last week of the year. I log in at the scheduled time and realize there are 2 different meeting links so I log into both and wait. She never showed up and I think she was out of the office although I was never told the reason for the no-show.
At this point, I email the recruiter telling her what has occurred. They reschedule it to another day during the first week of January and another recruiter gets involved to clean up more incorrect links, etc. being sent to me. I think there were something like 3 invites sent.
I finally have the conversation and I say conversation since there were no formal questions and it seemed like she was talking to me because she had to, not because she was actually interested.
I followed up early the next week asintructed and to this point still haven't heard anything (going on 2 weeks). Strange how they were constantly emailing and texting me yet don't have the courtesy to send a canned decline email or simply reply to my email inquiring as to my status.
It's annoying jumping through hoops to accommodate numerous interviews only to be ghosted after being such a "great candidate". It shows a lack of respect to not only me but the time of candidates, in general.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very common questions around background, experience, management style, etc.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Signify Health in Jun 2021
Interview
Very conversational and informative. The interviewer asked about my work history and also my goals. Cultural fit seems to be very important. It seemed important to demonstrate prospective value to the team.
