Sinister Studio interview questions

I emailed Sinister Studio expressing my love for the incredible work they do and asked if they had any vacancies for my job title. After a few hours I received an email declining my request. Early the next morning I received a call from them wanting to schedule a meeting with me. Our meeting went very well and they then scheduled a second meeting with me. There was a misunderstanding with the time for the second meeting and they didn't pitch. After sorting out the confusion and having our second meeting, they said that they will be sending an offer through that day. Later that afternoon I received an unexpected call saying that they didn't want to offer me the contract anymore as I didn't seem excited enough. I was taken aback and beyond disappointed.
