The hiring process at Skedda takes an average of 10 days when considering 1 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Senior Engineer had the quickest hiring process (on average 10 days), whereas Senior Engineer roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 10 days).
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Skedda (Budva) in Aug 2025
Interview
In the beginning PM reached me on LinkedIn. We had a quick call, and he briefly described the job opening. Then I received a technical assignment in my email (it required solving an algorithmic task similar to those in Leetcode). A week and a half later, HR contacted me and we had an interview, after which they sent me another technical assignment to take home. Next, there was a technical interview. Then HR wrote me that they needed to make a decision based on the feedback. And the following week she wrote that they had decided not to continue the process because they had expected more detailed answers for the architectural task at the technical interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The technical interview included lifecoding, an architectural task, and general technical questions.
First, there was a coding challenge on the platform at a LeetCode medium level. I completed it and was invited to the next step: an HR screening. The screening mostly repeated what I had already listed on my CV.
Then I received a link to the next challenge — a home assessment task in Ember. When I first heard that, I couldn’t believe it, but it turned out not to be that bad because they didn’t ask me to build an application from scratch in Ember; I only had to fix some bugs in an existing application. They provided a fairly detailed README with the requirements, and they even discouraged candidates from asking follow-up questions.
I built the application according to my understanding of the requirements and checked that I met each one. Nevertheless, I was rejected with a one-line feedback stating that my application didn’t meet the requirements (without any details).
When I politely asked the HR representative for more specific feedback, I received a generic reply saying they appreciated the request and would pass it on to the Director of Engineering. No one ever responded to my follow-up.
TL;DR I spent 3 hours for them; and they answered with one line.

The interview process at Skedda was very straight forward. First you get a recruiter call where they check if your skills and experience align with what is expected of the role. After the recruiter call, you get a take home assessment with two tasks (One frontend focused and the other Backend focused) the objective is to solve one of the two and submit the assessment.
If the assessment review is successful, you're invited to speak with the chief architect to talk through your solution as well as answer a few engineering related question, nothing too serious mostly things to check your understanding of how the web works.
After this stage there are two more stages with Team leads in the organization, 30 minute calls each. In these stages, some more programming questions are asked, Things like "How do you optimize a database query?" etc.
In all the process is very straight forward, and you get feedback after every stage.
