Interview
There were four of us in a morning session. Initially we were all spoken to together about what the day encompassed. There were then a series for 4 interviews, all testing nuanced competencies. These included things like motivation, commitment, openness, ability to build rapport, emotional intelligence etc. Its a people business, and to get the rest reaction from the interviewers you need to show knowledge of what the business does, why they do it, and then also a natural networking talent.
The morning session finished with a lunch attended by current associates so that we could ask them questions about their backgrounds and what it was like to work at Skillcapital

Interview
4 weeks - initial interview, then met 6 other employees, then a Partner, then did a case study in their offices. The interviews were largely about my fit and motivation, as I had no search experience.
I had initial phone screen then met with additional team members. Completed case study and received offer a few days later. Overall positive experience and nothing unexpected throughout the process.
