One round of interviewing at the office itself. Standard questions, though interviewer seems to be quite self-centered about how their place is better than the rest. They offered after that, but the salary was much lower than industry standard, compared to the heavy portfolio. I called back and asked if a salary negotiation was possible, given the market rate and my experience. HR did not even entertain this on the call, and gave a generic response that they will check. Next thing I know, they sent a curt email informing me that the offer has been rescinded with no explanation provided.
