Softmax Data interview questions

My experience with Softmax was marked by a lengthy 8-round interview process, unclear expectations from interviewers, reluctance to embrace innovation, and inappropriate low-level questions (such as syntax) for a candidate with 13 years of experience. Just got a generic/automated rejection email. The rejection process lacked transparency and the response was unhelpful and rude, reflecting negatively on the company's values and culture. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that left doubts about their decision-making for future hires and their respect for candidates' time.

The interview was with Jia. He explained the role. It was for consulting for a real estate software company based in the US. After some brief chit-chat, the interview had some algorithms tests. There was no previous communication that the interview would be about algorithms so you don't really have a chance to review concepts or be prepared. From the scheduling of the interview, I felt the interview experience was poor and felt rushed. I had already made up my mind that I would not move forward with this company but decided to do the interview for experience and practice.
