I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Oakland, CA) in Oct 2018
Interview
Applied online, the next day 9/18 got an email asking to fill out a 5yr work history. Also an another email was invited to set up a phone interview 9/24. Brief questions about my work history, what to expect working there etc. She told me I would know in a couple of days because she has to send off my info to someone higher up. Got an email that day asking me to take some of my past job experience off my resume and call back when I did. After doing so and calling she invited me for a f2f interview at the airport for 10/1. I got there and they were interviewing people all day. It was 1 on 1, once again questions about my work history, the pay, what to expect working there and customer service questions. He let me know training would be for two weeks in Dallas and I would do finger printing there and some place else for drug test. He told me they had to interview everyone before they can send people out for drug test and I would know either way by the end of the week. Next day 10pm at night in my spam box got an email from Southwest congratulating me and offering me a position once I pass background, work history verification, etc. I'm very excited, this is my 3rd time applying. I'm not worried about my background or drug test so I guess I have the job lol
I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
The interview was a very casual meet and greet. Several HR employees were sitting at different tables casually asking questions to potential candidates. If the HR Rep was interested, he had you speak to another one of his colleagues. From that point, if they both gave you the thumbs up, you were drug tested and finger-printed on the spot. A job offer came within ten days of that first and only interview.

Interview
Behavioral interview questions, know things about the company, have questions for the interviewer, smile smile smile. Have knowledge of the position expectations and qualifications. I would recommend STAR method answers and just be prepared and be yourself.

Tell me about a time you went above and beyond for a customer?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Denver, CO) in Jun 2023
Interview
I had attended a hiring event and it was great, Southwest seems to be a great company. It took hours though, so if you plan on attending a hiring event held by Southwest, I'd plan a good 5 hours to be there. Show up dressed good, prepared for an interview. Take your resume.

Question 1
They ask you questions about how you'd react in situations where the customer is frustrated, yelling, etc., coworker disagreements, if a coworker is doing something wrong (how you would address them/ deal with it), and lastly why you're interested in the company.
