Interview
First, Spectrum vetted my resume and sent it along to the attorneys for whom I would be working. Next, the attorneys contacted me and conducted a brief telephone interview. Once the were satisfied that I have a clear speaking voice and can read complicated text with ease, the attorneys contacted Spectrum to set up what would be my final interview before being offered the position. At that interview, I asked questions about their expectations of their Reader and legal assistant, scheduling, transportation (it's a 2-hour commute from door to door), and office culture.

Are you willing and able to commute to Washington DC from Baltimore every day?
