The process took 1 week. I interviewed at State Farm (Greeley, CO) in Dec 2011
Interview
I started out by filling out an online application. I received an email 2 days later asking me to fill out 2 seperate tests. One was for personality & the other was for competency. 2 days after completing those I received an email saying I passed those tests & would be contacted by HR. I received a call later that afternoon to set up an in-person interview, which was set for the next morning. I interviewed with 2 people, thinking department managers but never got their titles. The questions started with basic HR questions aobut can I work certain hours, days, work environment. The rest were about my background & how I would or have handled certain situations. They liked having specific examples as part of the answer. The people were ok, got a good vibe from them (for what that's worth), the office area was very nice & clean.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Birmingham, AL)
Interview
I've interviewed with this company. Very straight forward process. Would recommend applying to this job. The steps depends on the recruiter the agency uses. Mainly over the phone interviews, video, and in person last.
I applied online. I interviewed at State Farm (Southaven, MS) in May 2026
Interview
It seems to be a very low base pay leading to sales. This was not something I am interested in for my career. I have had several interviews with state farm but very few offered benefits needed for my family.
Easy phone interview. Asked basic questions for the initial interview, was very fast and easy. Hear back in 48 hours. Was asked why I wanted the job, and how comfortable on a scale of 1-10 how comforatabke I was with sales
