- Phone screening
- Tech phone screen
- Take home code test
- Final On site with Engineering Dept
- Second Final On Site with no engineers
This company strikes me as a PAC fronting as a charter school network. The technical part of the process was great, code test was fun. The whole engineering department came off as intelligent, kind people who want to solve problems, and do the right thing in general.
The second final interview is what gives me serious pause about this company. It was obvious that there is a lot of office politics and tension at Success Academy HQ. Without introductions, right away, I was asked my opinion on unions, on charter schools vs public schools. I was then told that picketing against public schools was a job requirement. Then they pretended to not know that I had already passed the technical part of the process. This was either very poor miscommunication, or unprofessional shallowness, since the process had been over a few weeks at this point.
