I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Success Academy Charter Schools (New York, NY) in Mar 2019
Interview
Interview process felt like a cattle call with very little focus on the human beings interviewing. I felt like an animal being trapped. The process of applying to interview to offer also felt a bit bait-and-switch, to be honest. There was zero interest in whether or not the job would fit the employee... only in whether the employee would be able to and be willing to do the job the way they’d want them to.

Question 1
There was a masse intro session with slideshow and videos, followed by a group that was sort of like a class that culminated in role playing. Last, there was a long wait before individual interviews. The position for which I applied was different from the one for which they told me I was interviewing, which was then different from what they offered.
A lot about willingness to discipline, how you grew up, adaptability, etc. Also stuff on what my educational experience was like (strict or not strict)? Also mock roleplay about disciplining a kid

I received a random message on LinkedIn from a recruiter. We had a call where they went over interview prep and scheduled the meeting. They asked pretty standard questions. Teaching experience, why teaching and why this specific academy, a time where you dealt with a difficult situation or person, how do you take constructive criticism then a simulated situation where they give you a scenario about ‘difficult’ parents and kids.

Interview
The interview is done very quickly, and the questions are to the point. The interviewee should try to answer in a short, precise manner. Confidence is essential for the interview.
