The interview process was good, but a lot of it was really just information regurgitation from some pre-work. I don't feel like it would really gauge well if I could be good with kids, more broadly it seemed to gauge whether or not I could be a good workhorse.

I received a random message on LinkedIn from a recruiter. We had a call where they went over interview prep and scheduled the meeting. They asked pretty standard questions. Teaching experience, why teaching and why this specific academy, a time where you dealt with a difficult situation or person, how do you take constructive criticism then a simulated situation where they give you a scenario about ‘difficult’ parents and kids.

The interview is done very quickly, and the questions are to the point. The interviewee should try to answer in a short, precise manner. Confidence is essential for the interview.
