A lot of questions were technical (these were the easy ones), they did extensive assessment on "personnel fit" which were more tricky

I don't remember the exact questions they asked me. However, the questions were relevant and made sense in the context of the job. They were based on my experience, how I would approach the role, and other typical questions like that.
The first interview was graced by the presence of the Head of HR who focused on age as part of the qualification. When she mentioned this I knew I was out since I am in my forties. Second interview seemed stilted. It was conducted by the hiring manager. A month after they had told me that they would reach out the head of HR reached out with a curt email. I requested feedback regarding my performance but none was forthcoming
