Round 1 with a useless HR person, she seemed encouraging, but this comes back into play later. Round 2 was the hiring manager, round 3 with another guy on the team. Round 4 with head of the support team. Good vibes with everyone except the talent acquisition/HR lady was yet another dehumanizing force who couldn't even be bothered to answer emails or maintain deadlines that she gave. In round 1 she bragged about growing Grafana's team, not sure how she pulled that off. Kind of ridiculous and honestly I'm not sure why I treat people as human beings anymore when I have to deal with this in every set of interviews. I'm ok with not getting a role, this happens. I'm not ok with dealing with people who are somehow employed whose job is just to answer emails and coordinate things and they can't do it. But if this is Supabase's experience for potential employees , then I imagine their support is getting destroyed. Hats off to everyone but her, though.
