3 interviews (recruiter screen, discussion with manager, presentation to team) plus an “at home” tech assessment. The day of my final interview the recruiter told me over the phone that I was their top candidate and that their intention was to provide me an offer the next day. The manager during the final interview gave me glowing feedback and told me the recruiter would be reaching out to me later that day or the next. Instead, what happened is the recruiter finally called me more than a week later to tell me they were moving forward with another candidate. When I asked him what changed he claimed he did not say the words he literally told me on the phone the previous week…..Yikes.
Interview process was very succinct and to the point. Great transparency on vision of the role. Offer was extended following the 2nd interview, and start-date was thoroughly discussed to align with adequate notice leaving former job.
