I applied online. I interviewed at TELUS (Calgary, AB) in May 2026
Interview
Relatively quick following applying. Half an hour HR call, behavioral assessment, and one interview with the hiring manager and a colleague.
There seemed to be a big disconnect between the job posting and how the hiring manager actually described the role. The irritating part is that I knew there would be several more rounds of interviews, and following week I received the automated rejection saying the position was filled, which can't be true because there was no way they had those interviews in less than a week. My guess is that they sent the wrong rejection template, just felt disconnected and sloppy after so much time was already put into it.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at TELUS (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2023
Interview
The interview process was a screening call with HR to confirm basic details followed by a 45-minute virtual situational interview with the hiring manager. Successful candidates would then have a case study and presentation. It does not appear that they hired anyone as part of the process.
