During the call, I was asked about my current salary, which I consider inappropriate and irrelevant at such an early stage, as compensation should be based on the role’s value and the candidate’s skills, not previous pay. Additionally, I was informed that it is mandatory to provide either an HR letter or a bank transfer screenshot as proof in order to proceed with the interview. This requirement was presented as non-negotiable, even before any technical evaluation or formal offer discussion.
