I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Target (Manhattan Beach, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
I applied online and got a call about a month and half later for a quick phone interview. After that, I got another call to schedule my interview. I went in and was asked to wait in the training room for like 5-8 mins. One of the managers went to get me when she was ready and we went to her office. She was very nice and down to earth, it made me feel a little more relaxed and asked me a bunch of "if you were in a situation like... what would you do?" while jotting down notes.
At the end she said I would be a good fit and was offered a position right away.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly there were questions like "if something like ... happened what would you do?" and "what made you want to work at target?" also just a few questions about my past job and instances where I had done more than what was expected of me.
Easy question and answer, felt honest and geniune. There were two back to back interviews, first with a team leader, then the executive lead. Not long after this I was given an offer.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target
Interview
Easy, quick, to the point. Not as stressful as I imagined. Initial interview followed by two more. Final interview was with HR ETL. It was a pleasant experience. I would recommend to prepare, but not over prepare.
