The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Bengaluru) in Aug 2023
Interview
Most of the questions were from Electric Networks (RC circuits, Filters, KCL) and 1 question from Diode(characteristics) and working of Diode. Interview started, then I was asked to introduce about myself, I introduced, focusing on my projects more. Then they told me to click a link (whiteboard.com) where I was asked problems like numericals. That was mostly it. They asked 5 questions 1. Vo value in the 1st circuit 2. Initial and final value theorem concept in RC circuit, with two capacitor 3. RC filter circui output 4. Diode circuit...output characteristics and working 5. An RC circuit numerical Then interview lasted for 45 mins. I think it went good. I was nervous for first few minutes, but solving those questions calmed me down.
Was asked about Network analysis problems and RC circuit problems. The questions were medium difficulty and the interviewer helped if get stuck. It was a campus opportunity and the interview was online meet interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Find the output voltage using kcl kvl in the given resistor circuit
There was two rounds of shortlisting potential candidates.
Round 1 : Online Assessment
This round has an online proctored exam that is to be taken on campus under TPO supervision. The assessment has 2 parts and switching between the parts is not allowed. It also has negative marking of -0.25 for every wrong answer and +1 for every right answer.
Round 2 : Technical Interview
Firstly TI interviewers are very friendly and smart people. They provide hints when you fumble up there and try to guide you to the answer. So be confident with whatever you put on your resume.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
resistive network(voltage source connected to series and parallel combination of resistors) and asked to find the current through one of the resistor in parallel connection.
Then they gave me a circuit containing only capacitors in different arrangement and asked to find the voltage across the parallel of the two capacitors
I applied through university. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Bengaluru) in Sept 2024
Interview
I got an opportunity to interview through college placements.
we had 3 rounds. 1st written assessment. 2nd technical round when most of the questions were about rc circuit and diodes
