Interviewer was rude and upset that I applied on an outside website instead of the main site. Made a lot of personal, unprofessional comments, such as, “you seem very picky” when I asked a simple question. I was just trying to figure out if They had SI patients, as I prefer not to sit for 1:1’s as a BHT. Couldn’t answer my questions. Kept saying that they were “better than Mayo” and “spend thousands on landscaping.”
Felt very uncomfortable, and asked to be withdrawn from the application, and was kept on the phone for 15 minutes. Very bizarre. I’ve never had an interviewer like this, In 16 years working. I was scolded for not looking at the website first, applying elsewhere, told I “didn’t know what I wanted” it was very petty, and the pay at Wickenburg hospital is actually more. Couldn’t get a straight answer on very asic questions. I usually don’t ask many of them, but she kept contradicting herself.
She didn’t seem to have an actual patient care experience, and was hard to get info out of. I think they might get commissions for hiring, because she became very pushy when I said I wanted to get off the phone.. She Constantly kept going on about how they were superior, and spent so much money on the faculty and how it looked. That’s not important to me. Plus, a PRN job, not a full hire, should be able to pick their schedule.
. I just thought it was very petty that she was so upset that I hadn’t looked at the website, when I had JUST applied, and was traveling.
It was a horrible experience, basically she was a condescending, petty Karen, who didn’t seem to understand how patient are works. and I get the feeling if the interview went like that, the place would be really bad. It was just a super bizarre interview, I’ve never experienced anything like that. My boyfriend overheard on speakerphone, and just commented, “I don’t think she knows what she is doing, she seems very HR, but confused and not very intelligent, or just rude. “
I would steer clear of this place, I got a really bad vibe. You had to have heard it to believe it. She scolded me for applying for many positions. Well, I’m trying my best to get work. It’s very difficult out past Wickenburg.
Don’t put an add on indeed, if you are going to scold someone for applying on there. I’ve never been scolded in an interview before. I still don’t understand anything about the job, and withdrew them from indeed. Pay is way too low for a BHT. I don’t want to hear that their patients are rich and superior because they are self pay. I give the same care to everyone.
This last needs an attitude adjustment. I feel sorry for her coworkers. It gave me a mean girl workplace vibe. Beware. They offered the lowest of any of the 8 callbacks I got. (They are desperate for CNA’s everywhere.)
