I applied through other source. I interviewed at The Miami Foundation
Interview
There were four rounds of interviews: recruiter, hiring manager, director, and panel (apparently, there were more to go). Plus, skills assessment. They were not too hard, but definitely a long process.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Miami Foundation in Aug 2023
Interview
The interview process took place over 2 months. There were a total of 4 interviews with members of the Grants Department, HR and the CEO. Overall, the interview process was lengthy and deceiving in the end. Each interview was filled with the interviewer assuring me of how well-suited I was for the role and what a great addition I would make to the team. In the end, after discussing salary expectations and potential start date, I received a rejection email from HR. I requested feedback for future applications and was met with radio silence.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to manage competing expectations from different stakeholders.
I had one interview with two employees. They asked a lot of questions the current company I worked for which felt odd. Then we moved on to speaking about my experience, and my interest in the foundation. Both employees seemed very interested and said I would hear back from them next week. I sent a thank you email and never heard back from them. When I reached out again, 24 hours later I received a rejection email. I find it out for an organization that strives to work closely with the community, they don’t even take the time to email a candidate, even with just a no.
