Just a couple of straight forward questions, a guy and a lady that seem not to even know much about the role they put. They was lots of confusions like they didnt prepare for the interview.

Why did I choose to become a design architect and what is my level of experience
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at The Startup Place (Abuja, Federal Capital Territory) in May 2025
Interview
Over 25 people were shortlisted for a single role. The interview was under 8 minutes. The interviewers refused to allow candidates to ask questions. They extended an offer and rescinded it 4 days later, without substantial feedback as to why. All these were done verbally. After the offer, I was made to understand that they were recruiting for a different organization than the one listed on the job ad. They omitted that much till the final stage. Overall, it wasn't a transparent process. If you are an aspiring Candidate looking to join this firm, ask questions o, and if they decline to answer, then you know what you need to do.

What is one innovation you would introduce in this firm to drive growth.
First of all, the interview started late.
Overall, their requirement process wasn't flexible and adjusted to current practices. Follow up emails were not replied to, and request for virtual interview for candidates with cogent reasons was dismissed.
Interviewers were more instructive than open.
I wonder what impression any candidate can make under 8mins with a recruiting team.
The recruiting team tried to cram 20 interviews into a single day, risking the opportunity to accurately assess candidates credentials and abilities.
They didn't give room for answers, and when they were asked, they pivoted to another question, declining to answer.
The swung from persistence to hard pressing about salary expectations, pressuring candidates to give a range, even after the candidate had politely differed to leave negotions for when they are making offers
