Recruiter introduced the team and the company, as well as the hiring process. He did not ask me to go through my resume or have any background questions for me.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Thumbtack (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2025
Interview
The process was drawn out, it was pretty obvious the interviewers weren't speaking to each other and often didn't know what the position was being interviewed for. The company needs to invest in interviewer training, i was often asked questions opposite to what they stated they wanted and there were several points where it was obvious the interviewer was unsure how to move forward in their line of questions. The questions were easy, the effort i saw from their end seemed to be very high as they tried to string together related questions.
