Completed all 5 arduous rounds of interviews and had to take some leaves for it. (HR > Beijing Tech Team > Team Lead > HRBP > Psychometric Test) Process took ~6weeks up until final round with pending interview outcome. HR was friendly and accountable up until handover after the final round, where a new verified HR took over and ghosted me.
Tried to reach out over calls, messages and LinkedIn but new senior HR ignored me on all platforms. Having invested so much time, energy and research on the interviews, I would expect at least the decency to receive a rejection reply. No closure, no follow-ups, no accountability.
The unprofessional interview experience from such an established firm left a really bad taste in potential candidates and might affirm the speculation that Tiktok interviews are just for data collection and ghost listings. Hiring process is in dire need of improvements otherwise potential hires should avoid wasting their time.
