For the role there were three main stages. The job pending on you passing each one. Stage 1 - Online application + SJT/tests. Stage 2 - Phone interview. Stage 3 - Assessment centre. At the assessment centre, you will then have to undertake a written/numeracy test, role play and a face to face interview. If you pass all these stages, then you will get the job or get put on a waiting list. The process itself can be long winded as each stage upon completion usually required a long waiting time before you will hear a response. For me personally, it took just over 2 months in all before I got into the job and put on training for the role. For others it did take longer, e.g. A year.
