Interview
I applied on July 15th and heard back during the first week of August. I was sent an email on August 3rd from a recruiter asking me to answer 5 basic questions. This was sent on a Friday and I was asked to schedule a telephone interview that Monday. It went well and I was told that she would forward me info to the hiring manager. A week later I followed up with her via email and she responded a day later stating the manager would contact me sometime in the next week.
The manager called to schedule a formal telephone interview In the next few days. The telephone interview went well I believe. He said he was scheduled to visit my area in the following week.
We interviewed on Monday and I was contacted on Thursday to do a skills assessment and in person interview. I understood we would have to negotiate the salary.
I took the assessment test after an in person 1on1 interview with the hiring manager. The test consisted of a booklet of four sections. Each section had about 25 questions. There was a section to interpret and identify errors in policy information, arithmetic math, problem solving questions and grammar. I found the sections on policy info and problem solving to be challenging. These sections were timed for about 20 minutes each. Then there was a simple test to write something, easy excel test and a self evaluation of skills. I was informed that I need at least 70% to pass... So i figured i could answer up to 30 wrong. I was only uncertain on about 10-12 questions so I thought I was ok. This all took about 3 hours. It was a bit harder than I expected.
Again, this was a Thursday and the manager said I would hear back by the following Friday at the latest. If out from HR that I didn't not pass the assessment test. She did not have the grading details but indicated I could not move forward in the process. Needless to say, I'm devastated.

Interview
Easy questions about very common things that a premium Auditor needs to know. WC, GL...PAAS...NCCI... The questions cover a little bit of behavioral topics too. The second phase (with a manager and/or director) is not challenging if you know your job.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Phoneton, OH) in Apr 2022
Interview
Initial interview is very smooth and not difficult. Just an initial contact to get to know you and learn more about you as an individual. Most of the time was spent with the interviewer.
