The technical coding interview has 3 questions but the prompt says to do only 1 question of your choice. I followed the prompt and did just 1 question, but for my second round with developers they acted very surprised about why I didn’t do all the questions and made me do the remaining 2 questions in front of them. I solved the questions correctly ( I know because I verified later). After that one of the developers was stuck on testing questions. I informed him that I know basic testing and that we have QAs for handling all of that and I do not have in-depth testing experience but he still kept asking me questions about testing as if this is not a SWE job but a QA job. I give props to the recruiter for following up with me in timely and professional manner. But everything else is a chaos.
