Consisted of a Skype interview, supposed to last about 45 minutes. Basically composed of two parts, an initial discussion of my previous role and the technology stack I used, followed by a pair programming exercise. The engineer that interviewed me was very nice and knowledgeable and I enjoyed our conversation and the pair coding. I believe I did quite well (the interview exceeded the planed 45 minutes). Unfortunately, at the end of the interview the engineer told me that the role was for DevOps, not for software development. The job ad didn't make this clear and the HR person never discussed the role with me, only sent an invitation for the Skype interview. I politely declined to continue with the interviewing process, since I'm a developer and I don't wish to work as DevOps. I'm only rating the experience as negative because later on I got an email from the HR person with the words "we will not be moving forward with the process" and I didn't even get an apology or satisfaction.
